White Blotches On Side Of Throat, Constant Cough, Pain While Swallowing. History Of Discontinuing Cousrse Of Antibiotics For Sinus Infection. Infected Throat?
Hello so I was prescribed antibiotics because I had a Sinus infection almost a month ago. I stopped taking them a few weeks ago because I felt better. Now I think the infection spread to my throat because there's white blotches on the sides of my throat I have a persistent cough and it it hurts a bit when I swallow. I don't have a fever or anything so I'm stumped as to what is going on with my throat.

hi.. you have sore throat and white patch on the tonsills.. you need to consult ENT surgeon for the examination and investigation.. it could be streptococcal infection /diptheria.. you need to take swab on it, and send it for culture and sensitivity.. and antibiotics should be prescribed based on the results.. do salt water gargling and take multivitamins... all the very best..
