Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM,

I went through your query and understood your concern. The condition that you described is consistent with lie bump/ transient papillitis due to inflammation of your taste buds, or it can be canker sore.

Gargle with an antiseptic mouth wash like chlorhexidine 4-5 times a day. Take an oral anti inflammatory like ibuprofen to relieve irritation. Also apply topical local anesthetic like lidocaine/ xylocaine to relieve the irritation. Take vitamin B complex supplement. Avoid smoking.

Do not pick or pierce any bump becuase it causes infection to go deeper.

If it doesnt get resolved in a week with this, consult your physician to rule out oral thrush.

Hope I was able to help.
