White Bump With A Hole On Top Side Of Tongue, No Pain, Blood Dropped On Squeezing. What To Do?
hello 4 a few days now ive had 1 white bump with a hole in the middle of it on the top side of tongue /looks like a white head pimple,it has no pain, ive squeezed it hard & got a blood drop out of it ,have been rinsing with saltwater ,seems 2 be gone in morning & back again at 6pm in evening
I went through your query and understood your concern. The condition that you described is consistent with lie bump/ transient papillitis due to inflammation of your taste buds, or it can be canker sore.
Gargle with an antiseptic mouth wash like chlorhexidine 4-5 times a day. Take an oral anti inflammatory like ibuprofen to relieve irritation. Also apply topical local anesthetic like lidocaine/ xylocaine to relieve the irritation. Take vitamin B complex supplement. Avoid smoking.
Do not pick or pierce any bump becuase it causes infection to go deeper.
If it doesnt get resolved in a week with this, consult your physician to rule out oral thrush.
Hope I was able to help.
