First go for diagnosis of white patch.
It may be due to Tenia versicular,a fungal infection.
If it is due to fungal infection then apply multifungin cream or lotion and take anti fungal tab. like Flucanozole 150 mg once in a week for 4 weeks.
Another possibility is having Vitiligo.
Consult dermatologist and get physically examined.

please consult to a dermatologist as it need physical examination to get to diagnosis,,type of white patches should be seen,,for this as home remedy you can apply cow urine+ harad churan.,bath with medicated soap or you can boil neem in leaves water and apply all over patches.eat less salt.

How can we diagnose........
O.k. probable is 1) vitilligo ( depigmented with hyperpigment border)
2) Leprosy (sensory loss with local thickening of nerve)
3) Leucoderma....any precipitated factor
4) Pitriaysis versicolor ...fungus...contagious...elicit family history
hense consult dermatologist ...follow the treatment o.k
