Hi, Dr. Since a year ago, I develp a Few white spots onme .one is on chest, three on right hand. I went to Doctor Office. He said it was tinea versicolor. Ask me to put fluocinonide. Since then, did not develp any new spots. The old spots remained, did not expand. Few weeks ago, I had a little bit rash and then I put fluocinonide. The rash went away but my hand developed few new white spots. I am thinKing is is because of fluocinonide? or do i have vitiligo? because the white spots are smooth flat, not inchy at all. Hi,
From your history it seems that you might be having pre-vitiligo.
if tinea versicular infection is there, by this time it might have cured.
In tinea infection spots are brown or light pinkish.
Here spots are white.
Consult Dermatologist and get examined.
Ok and take care.
