White Spots On Vaginal Area And Lips, Increasing In Number, Blocked Pores. How Do I Get Rid Of Them?
Hi. Over the past few years i have noticed these small itty bitty white dots on my vaginal area and lips. recently they have increased steadily in number. I have popped them years back and found that they are like blocked pores, but hey never go away. i have an idea as to what they might be but if they are simply blocked pores what could i do, other than regular cleaning(I take a shower once a day), to get rid of them?
Welcome to HCM! When you pop the lesions does a cheesy white material come out of them? You are probably suffering from MOLLUSCUM CONTAGIOSUM which is a viral disease spreads from skin-to-skin contact and infected towels, etc. the number of lesions increase by auto-inoculation (so please don't pop them). Most cases clear in 9 months; if the lesions have not resolved even after 2 years, one might consider medication like applying ASTRINGENTS like Tea Tree Oil with organically bound Iodine or Potassium Hydrochloride or Cantharidine by a Dermatologist or Immunotherapy with IMIQUIMOD applied 3 times a week and left for 6 to 10 hours may take 1 to 4 months to cure.
