Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a lump on my head that has grown to be noticeable over the last two years. Does not hurt. My doctor said it is probably some kind of fluid at one point. Then the next time he had his boss look at it whom said it could be hair folicuals. This is all from looking and feeling. What specialist should I see for fit her analysis?
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. Well, painless lump on your head what you have described must be 'sebeceous cyst'. It is better to get it removed because, if it gets infected, then it may cause more problems. It will be removed by a minor surgical procedure under aseptic precautions. Kindly consult Surgeon in this regard for proper management. All the best.
