Whom To Consult When Diagnosed With Enormous Hiatal Hernia?
Was in ER WITH CHEST HEAVINESS,HOARSENESS,COUGHING, OCCASIONAL FEELING LIKE I AM CHOKING AFTER EATING. INDIGESTION. WAS TOLD I HAVE AN ENORMOUS HIADAL HERNIA AND NEED SURGERY SOON. WHAT TYPE OF DOCTOR DO I SEE AND WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE BEFORE SURGERY (PRETESTING ETC)?

I think you may need to visit a gastroenterologist and an abdominal surgeon. If you are having enormous hiatal hernia then surgery is needed.
