No she is not supposed to be having a baby at all !
A
hysterectomy means removal of the
uterus.
Oophrectomy means removal of the ovaries.
If she has both, or even one of these, she cant have a baby, plus she is 55 !
After hysterectomy, it is common for the bowel or bladder to prolapse.
They lose the normal support which is derived from the centrally situated uterus and
cervix.
As this support is lost. the organs prolapse out.
That is why she must be feeling a dragging and pushing sensation in the vagina.
IT could lead to difficulty in urinating or passing bowel movements.
Please ask her to consult a Uro Gynecologist for complete assessment of this provisional diagnosis that I have made.
