Why Am I Experiencing Delay In Periods While Taking Placebos And Norgestimate?
I am currently taking a norgestimate and ethinyl estradiol tablet for birth control and the fourth week of pills are placebos. I have taken 3 out of the 7 placebos and still have not started my period. I just switched to this birth control from a different prescription. Should my period have already started? When will it start?

Hello madam, from the history you have given, well withdrawal bleeding following hormonal pills may occur in some women quickly may be in a day and in some it may take longer time even upto a week.I would suggest you to waite for few more days for the withdrawal bleeding. In case you find it gets further delayed you may have to consult your gynaecologist for further intervention.hope I was helpful to you.
