Why Am I Experiencing Green And Blood Discharge From My Sinuses Even After Taking Amoxicillin And Cold Medication?
Here is my problem. I am in the middle of a sinus infection relapse with sore throat and Bronchitis. I took 10 days of 875 mg Amoxicillin 2x/day and otc cough and cold meds with a relapse starting 7 days ago. I am still experiencing green and bloody discharge from my sinuses. This was a really bad episode. I am allergic to Sulfa (hives), Fluroquinalones (pain and tendon ruptures) and E-mycin gives me esophagitis. I am also allergic to Monostat (hives) and I have a really bad yeast infection now. I use both Diflucan and Terconazole for yeast infections. I think a Zpack would clear this up and Tussin pearls for the cough. Sorry about my spelling. I've had this on and off since I was a little girl and I continue to have this about twice a year. I have a four-year-old little boy in PreK and I'm the home room mom so I am exposed to this more frequently. Thank you, Julia Falcone
hello. recurrent mucus discharge with blood is likely to be due to a sinus infection and i would recommend you show your ENT doctor. has any CT scan been done for you, if yes what was the report? there are some ayurvedic drugs, which will increase youe immunity and resistance to infection. please discuss these with your ENT doctor, thanks
