Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am always tired and it is hard to find any to get going every day. it takes hours to get any sort of drive going or stay motivated. I don't know what the problem is and I'm getting tired of it. I am way to young to be feeling like this. I eat healthy and workout often but yet it is still hard for me to loss those last few pounds. any idea what is wrong?
The last few pounds are generally more difficult to lose and even mor edifficult to maintain .
From what you have stated I am getting the impression that you might be suffering from an iron deficiency and probably also deficiency of trace micro-nutrients in the blood like copper , magnesium and selenium etc .
Whenever we work out hard the requirement for iron , protein , calcium and the micro-nutrients also goes up .You might need to tweak a few changes sin your diet after consulting a good Nutritionist who would take into account your weight related goals and your required nutritional needs .
Also other than the above do consider getting a blood test for complete blood counts (CBC ), a thyroid profile (T.F.T),and ferritin level done to rule out deficiencies .
Hope it helps .
