Why Am I Getting Red And Brown Colour Gel Discharge?

I am getting red and brown colour gel discharge for more than ten days now, yesterday is my period date but i missed my period, I got pcos I am getting treatment for that, i usually have irregular period but i never had some experience like this, is this normal?????

Hi,
Brownish discharge can occur at ovulation or at the beginning of your cycle which is normal. Hormonal imbalance caused due to ovarian cysts can also be the cause. This could be the reason for your symptoms. I would recommend the use of hormonal pills in the next 2 to 3 cycles which will help in regulation. Supplements with myoinositol can also be taken.
Vaginal infections can cause altered color or foul smelling discharge.In case of such symptoms,vaginal smear can be treated and you may require a course of antibiotics.
