Why Am I Getting Severe Periodic Pain While On Cerazette?
I have been on cerazette now for over a year with no periods due to endometriosis as the periods were unbareable, they stopped my periods an I ve never had a problem with it however the last week I ve had terrible cramps that feels like horrible period pains with no period an I m not pregnant as I ve done several tests to make sure, help please?!
If the severe cramp like pain is still persistent, then you need to undergo a ultrasonography to rule out ectopic pregnancy. Patients on desogestrel might rarely have this combination. Pregnancy test may be negative in ectopic pregnancy. If the ultrasonography is negative for ectopic pregnancy, then other measures like changing the drug can be considered. Please discuss with your consultant about other options like combined pills or depot progesterone preparations.
