Hi thanks for contacting HCM.... You have associated viral infection of inner ear mostly.... You could have labyrinthitis like inner ear infection .... Get your ear examined for otoscopy and hearing test for primary work up.... This can lead fever and chills.... Take antihistaminic drug like benadryl for it .... Drink lots of fluid .... Avoid smoking .... If needed prophylactic antibiotic given.... If cough more with difficult breathing then chest x ray done for rule out bronchitis ... Hope your concern solved.
