Why Am I Having Numb Spells In My Legs And Right Arm?

I have been having numb spells, lasting several minutes, in both my legs knee and down to foot and my right arm to the fingertips...there is no tingling. It starts when I am walking. Can it bge that I have a bladder infection, even though I have no pain?

Hi,

I see the history as numbing, tingling and painful. this symptoms may be related to the degenerative disc disease of the cervical and lumbar spine and so does the Radiculopathy is the symptom seen.

Having an MRI of cervical and lumbar will be good as we can know how many levels the disc is getting degenerated. Using cervical collar and lumbar spine brace should help stabilize the spine. Use hot water fermentation along with this.

Post the pain level comes down to 5-6 in the visual analog pain scale of 0-10 then exercises can be started in low intensity. Exercise include - static neck exercises, upper limb static exercises, upper limb strengthening exercises.

For lower limbs - static hamstring, static quadriceps, static abductors and static abductors. Core stability and spinal muscle strengthening should be included for lumbar spine. Most patients seen in my clinical practice of over 12 years, have responded well to conservative management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
