Why Am I Having Pain In The Middle Of My Back Inspite Of Taking Pain Killers ?
hi have a severe pain in the middle of my back beneth my left shoulder blade . I am unable to lay on my back or my left side when i sneeze cough or laugh the pain is made much worse. Pain kilers and heat pads do not seem to ease the pain. Is there anything i can do to help ease the pain?

Backpain related to coughing,sneezing,lauging etc. related to problems of the lungs and/ ribs and surrounding tissues.It can also be due to cervical spondilitis.Kindly get your chest X-ray PA and X-ray cervical spine AP/Lateral done and get back to me.In the meantime take Tab.Flanzen-D twice daily with Tab.Palitex 1 at night.

As per your mail i feel that you are suffering from cervical spondilosis.Please take an xray to confirm the pathology.try to avoid pillows while sleeping and use heat packs in the pain area to relieve pain.

is it a localized pain or is it pinpoint.
is there a lump which can be felt.
if yes do frictional massage on tat area.
consult a physio for details of frictional massage.
try using physio modality called ultrasound to that area.
back manipulation/ mobilization can help.
