Why Am I Having Tingly Feeling And Headaches After The Hit On Fore Head?

a door was open into my forehead / nose on friday i think i may have blacked-out for only a few seconds as i apparently fell backwards onto the floor but cant remember? i have a cut to right forehead and nose, on saturday i felt very sick and had headaches , but since its happened i have this numb tingly feeling to the right side of my head the kind of feeling you have when you have a tooth filled, not feeling sick anymore but still having headaches , could you advise if i should visit a&e.

Hello. thanks for asking from HCM.

I can understand your concern. First we should rule out dangerous head injury. The sign and symptoms are
: vomiting
: bleeding through nose/ear/throat
: fits
: onset of new focal deficit
: loss of consciousness
: decreasing consciousness
If you are having any of above sign, you should consult ER as soon as possible. Meanwhile you should
: Avoid taking any medication which can cause sedation
: Turn head to side in case of vomiting
: Keep head at higher level than chest

If no above signs, then no need to worry. For numb feeling, you should wait. It will resolve with time. At cut site, you should maintain hygiene. You may apply iodine ointment to prevent infection.
