Why Am I Not Having Erection?

So I need help. I have been living alone for many years and recently entered a relationship with a woman after nearly 4 years. However, I was surprised to find that I have issues in having an erection though i have never experienced this till now. Is it a medical issue or just "stage fright"

I admire you for positive outlook.

It can be both.

If any medical issue than investigation is must.
I prefer some basic test to rule out medical causes like blood count, blood sugar, blood pressure and penile Doppler to know blood flow and chance of erection with medications etc.

I would like to inform some other causes which might affect erection.

1st is life syle
stress and busy life style make u fatigue and secondry to this it makes less desire in sex and erectile problems.
so do exercise.
meditations
healthy food and diet.
proper sleep.
make schedule stress free.
enjoy pleasurable activity and hobbies.

2nd is relationship
free communicative and mutual understanding will help
sex is mutual act
so try to do mutually and tell your problem to partner
this will reduce your anxiety and able to erect easily

so stress free lifestyle and mutual communication will help

third is physical health

routine check up and fit physical health is necessary

psychological soundness is must.


I prefer medicine like sildenafil and tadanafil in selected patients, but after proper evaluation.
