Hello I am suffering from hemoptysis which started over 12 months ago (very slight) It has now got worse and I spit up a desert spoon of bright red blood every morning plus another desert spoon during the day - no cough - it is just in my throat not mouth. I have seen chest physician who has confirmed respiratory system is Ok and no TB. ENT consultant could find nothing wrong - Gastroenterologist could find nothing wrong. Am currently awaiting Echocardiagram - heart murmur found 12 months ago. If the echo finds nothing wrong what should I do next? The problem is getting worse and nobody seems to be able to help.
Dear some times chronic sinusitis and polyps may give hemoptysis, dryness of the nasal mucosa or gingivitis or dental infection or injury to tongue papille etc..
Please consult your dental surgeon once and Ent specialist, get it done nasal endoscopy. There may be you will get a clue. I think I answered to your question if you have more questions please feel free to ask.
Take care
