Hi I had my last period on the 16th of February 2014, then on March 4th I started sporting when i wipe myself I used a tampon thinking its my period went to bed, woke up went to the bathroom there was brown spot on the tampon not enough for a period .not sure whats happening this happen only when i wipe myself im not cramping at all
Hello, If you have never had a menstrual disturbance, it is likely that you may have had some amount of breakthrough bleeding, sometimes due to transient hormone disturbances. If you have cycles of 28-30 days, this can correspond to ovulation bleeding, though such a bleed is often fresh. Also, some amount of infection, local causes like polyps and erosions can also cause such spotting. Use of tampons may often lead to local trauma, especially if the tampon does not fit easily enough. Please wait for a couple more days and if this does not subside, get expert help. Take care.
