General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
hi, Appendesectomy is a simple operation, patient usually recovers within few days. The eating/drinking resulting in nausea/pain suggest hyper acidity after the operation ,which should go with cold milk, in small & multiple servings/proton pump inhibitors. An accompening involvement of liver may present this way. Consultation of your surgeon/ investigations as per need, would help you for managing the condition. Thanks.
