Hello,

You are overweight and only 18 years of age. You have difficulty in losing weight. To lose weight take protein. Protein is an important nutrient for losing weight as it helps to eat several hundred calories fewer per day. Make sure you are not taking too many calories. Taking more calories will not let you lose weight faster. Food quality is just as important as quantity. Avoid packaged and processed food, take home made nutritious food in appropriate amount. Take whole food instead.

Eating processed food can negatively affect your weight loss success. Do regular exercises, walking, jogging, lifting weight, etc. This can help you maintain muscle mass. Weight lifting burns body fat and maintains muscle mass. Avoid binge eating. Eat slow, take time to enjoy the taste. Binge eating causes eating large amounts of food, often much more than your body needs. Cycling, and swimming are also very good exercises that will help to reduce weight.

Limit your intake of sugary beverages. Take quality sleep. Good sleep is one of the most important factors for your physical and mental health as well as your weight. Cut on carbohydrate intake. Avoid eating too often. You can do intermittent fasting go without food for extended periods of time (15–24 hours or more).

Take adequate water. Stay away from addictions if any. Get clinically examined by a GP, to detect an medical condition (hypothyroidism, PCOS, etc.) that is making things harder for you to reduce weight. Weight loss is generally a slow process, you are suggested to keep patience & avoid taking junk food.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
