Hello, My ears started ringing and then everything started to have an echo, or sound like I was hearing it through a tube. Shortly after this I got some pain in my ear. The ringing has been stagnant and seems to come and go as it pleases. Any idea?
Hi, ringing sensation associated with pain ear is usually due to two reasons: Eustachian tube (ET) blockade or infection of the middle ear due to which toxins have travelled to the inner ear. The ET problem is a common thing and can be a possibility in your case. Please use nasal decongestant drops, mucolytics and if pain persists, antibiotics. See a n ENT if the things do not improve in few days. Regards
