Why Am I Feeling Restless While Taking Risperidone And Vistaril For Bipolar Disorder?

My daughter is 50 years old and has Bipolar disorder and is on Risperidone 1mg 2x a day & Vistaril 50mg 4x a day She can not sit still or do anything---gets very restless-problems concentrating--loss of energy--- feeling sad--loss of appetite What help can be done?

I think I has bipolar effective disorder with current depressive episode. In that case she needs mood stabilizer with low dose antidepressant. For sleep benzodiazepine can be given. Antipsychotic like risperidone would increase depressive symptoms. Discuss this with her treating psychiatrist.
