I have a constant urge to urinate (it usually happens a day after rough sex), but I can't really pee (just a few drops) and 5 min after I have the urge again. It lasts for a few days. I imagine it must be an inflamation? Is there anything that can help? it's embarassing, as I travel a lot...especially when I'm out in a restaurant.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
You did not write whether you went for a protected or an unprotected sex, however it seems that you have discomfort either due to some internal swelling or pain. After a rough sex the inflammation of the urethra, lower urinary tract or bladder wall may cause discomfort. Not to worry it should get better in a day or two when the swelling recedes. But your inability to pee when you have an urge indicates that you have some infection. Get a R/E & C/S test done for urine. You may need some medications. Drink plenty of water. Neglect may add to problems if you have acquired UTI, cyctitis or any other infection. Get examined without much delay. Go for a safer sex to avoid such problems.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
