Hi I am going in to get appendix out on Friday as they said it is growing and at risk of tumor, I have gallbladder pain for last 2 months and was rushed in vomiting bile few months back, yesterday they noticed my spleen enlarged on a physical exam. Can you tell me what is causing this. I am 27 YYYY@YYYY

further evaluation needed for enlarged spleen and bile reflux. get following test done: 1. complete blood cell count 2. ultrasound abdomen 3. endoscopy 4. liver function test
meanwhile until blood test results come out: - avoid alcohol if alcoholic - avoid fatty meal altogether - you may take motilium ( domeperidone) or metoclopramide before meal to combat vomiting - avoid red meat and junk food altogether - avoid cold(soft) drinks - sit upstraight after meals for atleast 45 minutes or walk for a while
