General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I understand your concern. Duphaston contain 'dydrogesterone', which is a synthetic progesterone. It is used to treat a variety of conditions resulting from a lack of endogenous (naturally produced) progesterone. Nifedipine belongs to a group of drugs called 'calcium channel blockers'. It works by relaxing the muscles of your heart and blood vessels. It is commonly used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) and angina (chest pain). Epicephin belongs to the class of medicines known as 'cephalosporin antibiotics'. It works by killing bacteria or preventing their growth. It is used to treat bacterial infections in many different parts of the body.

Hope the information provided would be helpful. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashakiran S
