Why Are Progesterone Soft Gelatin Capsules Prescribed?

Iam 24year old,i got married 3 years.in 1 year my period was irregular and i could not conceive.my last period started on12th june 2016.today 28th july 2016.i did urine pregnancy test in22 july 2016,but the result is negative.we visit the doctor she prescribed to take progesterone soft gelatin capsules 200mg daily 2 in 5 days.and she tell no chance to i am getting pregnant in this month and tell do it exercise (weight 50kg).the doctor did not mention the use of tablet. Please tell me sir the use of progesterone soft gelatin capsules 200mg.and in any chance to getting pregnant in me

Understand your concern
Menstrual irregularity occur mainly due to hormonal imbalance and ovarian cyst. So first aim for conceive is to regularize the period.
Progesterone tablet make the uterine environment favorable and also help in regularize/induce the period.
Exercise can also helpful in the induction of ovulation.
My advise is, consult the gynecologist and get the done reproductive hormone analysis, USG scan and ovarian follicle study to manage the case.
You have to take proper treatment for 3-4 months for hormonal imbalance.
