Hello,

You are suffering from light headedness, your vocal cords feel like being tight and you are unable to do any talking. You feel tired. Your symptoms are indicative of vocal cord dysfunction, that commonly presents like a lump in their throat or that it’s tight. Some may feel light headed or tired because they may struggle to inhale enough air.

People commonly find it difficult to speak when there is laryngospasm. Laryngospasm is often triggered due to GERD or environmental irritants, cold or sinus infection. You are suggested to avoid taking oily, spicy food. Take boiled vegetarian food to avoid acid reflux. You can also take antacids or PPI's for relieve. Avoid doing strenuous exercises. Stay away from fumes, strong scents, pollutants, chemicals, etc.

Get treated cold or sinus infection. Stress and anxiety, depression, panic attacks, may also trigger the vocal cords to contract. Get clinically examined by an ENT, get few tests and investigations done. You will be treated with the required medicines, speech therapy, psychotherapy, breathing exercises, etc. Stay away from addictions if any.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
