Why Are The Red Patches Occurring After A Few Hours Of Taking Vyance Tab?
My friend took a 50mg vyance 11 hours ago and is now having red blotches break out all over her arms chest face and back. the blotches/patches are hot when you touch them and she describes the feeling as tingly or goosebump-ey. She says she feels normal, but the blotches keep spreading and stay hot, then fade then come back in other places. Is this something we should be concerned about or just a possible allergic reaction? If so, what would you suggest? We called a nurse hotline about an hour and a half ago and she said it would most likely go away, however it is just as bad.

Well it seems like your friend has developed a hyper-sensitivity/ allergic reaction to vyvanse as is evident from this on and off rash in the form of red blotches.
This should not be ignored and shall be countered by two approaches--
1) Stop vyvanse after informing about this adverse effect to the prescribing doctor and get it replaced by either Ritalin or Adderall or focailin, all of these being stimulants like vyvanse.
2) Take an antihistaminic drug like cetirizine or Benadryl syrup to treat this allergy. You shall take any one of these anti allergic remedies for at least 3 days.
