I'm 37 weeks pregnant an when I was finished eating I've gotten really bad cramps that made me almost wanna cry an got nauseas got back pain and needing to go poop I've tried laying down the went away a little bit but still there I had an 37 week check up and told me I wasn't dilated but could this be labor.
Hi, Thanks for the query. The possibilities are: -Gastroenteritis due to possible food born infection. -False labor pains. Usually these pains will get relived by taking rest, hydration, enema etc. -True labor pains. These will progress gradually, increase in severity and occur more frequently. So, if the pain persists, better to consult gynecologist and get examined. In case of true labor pains, usually associated cervical changes can be seen. If there are no cervical changes and pains get relieved after treatment, that could be false labor pains. If it is due to gastroenteritis, you may need related treatment. Take care.
