Why Did I Have Blackout After Getting Up From Chair?
I got up from my chair after sitting for a little while got up felt fine walked to the kitchen. Opened the cabinet and everything went black and I felt my left arm shaking as it held open the cabinet. After the incident I did not remember walking to the kitchen. Have felt light headed and mildy confused all day.
Hello! I read carefully your query. As you describe it might have been an episode of low blood pressure or a low level of sugar in your blood. I recommend you to do some investigation such as:-complete blood count to exclude an anemia(low red blood cells and low hemoglobin in blood) -glucose blood level to exclude a hipoglicemia. -serum electrolite estimation. -blood pressure monitoring. -consult a doctor so he can perform you a physical examination.
If all this tests result normal than a possible heart disease should be investigated.You can do ECG,Stress test,Ultrasound. If this symptoms persist and get worse I suggest to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment.
