Why Did I Have No Relief From Acne, Scars Even After Applying Halem, Acnon Gel For 10 Days?
good morning sir i m 21 year old girl .i had acne and scar problem i consulted with nearby doctor .she had prescribed halen (clindamycin and nicotinamide gel) and acnon gel 0.025%(tretinoin gel usp). and asked me to apply halen twice a daily at morning and at bedtime .acnon for 15 min. but after using it for 10 days i have found no changes in my condition .plz sir help me to get out of this situation

As you mentioned that you are 21 years old girl with acne .
Treatment taking from 10 days .
Two option are there,
1 Continue this treatment for next one month so that desired result cna be taken.
2 Add oral clindamycin or erythromycin 500 mg twice in day orally for one month.
As clindamycine 7 nicotinamide gel is a very good drug alond tretinoin .
3 Wash your face with permethrine soap dry it with a towel and there after apply these gel & lotion.
Still no relief then get in ultrasound of both ovaries for any cyst as Poly Cystic Ovarian Disease is most common cause of ACNE in young child bearing female .
2nd reason of acne may be hormonal imbalance so get in blood examiantion for androgen , estrogen , estradiol , FSH /LH ratio.
