Why Did My Baby Have Cold And Running Nose? Is It Due To Cerelac Or Massage?
hello doctor, i have a girl baby of 7 month old her weight is now 7.8kg... yesterday i fed her with cerelac wheat orange just a spoon and today i massaged her with himalaya baby oil and after bath she suffered with severe cold , running nose ... my neighbour says cerelac fruit will cause cold in babies.... why cold bcoz of cerelac or massage... plz give ur suggestion

If you have been feeding your baby with cerelac as her weaning food, there is no reason to believe that the introduction of a new flavour of cerelac will cause any food allergy.
Also the amount you mentioned is also very small, ie only one spoon and in general these products are resonably safe.
It is however likely that after applying baby oil, she caught cold as she was probably left undressed.
Babies are very susceptible to catching cold and hence special attention and care is required to prevent the same.
