Why Did My Child Have High Fever In Few Hours After Giving Medicine?

My 5 year old son had 103 fever than I gave him childrens fever Advil it went down to 99.7 and now 5 hours later he just threw up and he is shaking with chills and he's burning hot he has 103.6 fever but his hands and feet are cold with goosebumps what can it be?

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic
High fever with chills suggest that it may be Malaria,UTI or septicemia
For immediate relief from fever Paracetamol 15 mg/kg body weight 3-4 times daily will help.
Tepid sponging as and when needed will be better.
If it does not improve within 2-3 days consult pediatrician to arrive at a diagnosis and proper treatment.
