Why Do I Bleed After Sex Every Time ?
Good Morning, I bleed after deep penetrarive sex, sometimes i just bleed after sex, i have been seen by a colp doctor and had some glands removed, but i m still having the bleeding . I was booked for a novasure , but didn t think that would help much as it s more for periods. What else can it be? I have gone off sex now, as i know the result will be me bleeding and we l have to stop. As you can guess, it s starting to strain my marriage!! Any ideas? Thanks ps, i have been checked for STD s and am in the clear! I m 33 and have no other medical history , apart from CIN3 a few years ago(cervial dysplaisia) which was treated.

Are you sure you have been cured completely off Cervical Dysplasia? Have you got a recent PAP smear done? If not Kindly get it done after consulting your Gynecologist. If you have bleeding after vaginal sex, it's important to see your doctor to determine the cause. There are various causes to this like, Cervical cancer, Cervical dysplasia, Cervical ectropion, a condition in which the cervical tissue is more susceptible to abrasion, Cervical polyps, Cervicitis, that is Inflammation of the cervix, Endometrial cancer, Oral contraceptives, Pelvic inflammatory disease, STD, Uterine Fibroid, Vaginal Cancer, Vaginal Dryness or Vaginitis, that is inflammation of Vagina. If it is due to Vaginal Dryness, it is treatable. Go for regular follow up and get PAP smear done.
