Hi mam,
welcome to health care magic,
I can certainly understand your concern and worry about your exams and your sleep disturbances, as this is the time you have to work hard and perform well in your exams .This is not very unusual problem during preparation as any one may experience it because of
stress, continuous study schedule , as you feel tired by the end of the day and as if we wanted more rest, but in your case it seems to be more .
so I would like to advise you to follow some
relaxation techniques, like deep breathing exercises ie taking air with nose, holding it for 5 sec or as long as you can and relase it with your mouth slowly.follow this for 15 - 30 min daily. This helps in supplying
oxygen to the brain cells so that it gets activated and relaxed when you feel drowsy or stressed.you can also follow this for 5 min just before answering your paper for good memory retrieval.
Follow some techniques like maintaining regular sleeping hours, avoid daytime sleep is possible, or take a little snap after lunch, try to sleep early in the night so that you can wake up early in the morning .
Im not conviced you to suggest any drug at this moment, as it may result in unnecessary side effects during your exams
you must motivate your mind before sleeping wake early with the help of alarm .plan your schedule daily and try to finish your portion as scheduled . If these methods doesn't help, then only you can start an anti
anxiety drugs like escitalopram to reduce your stress and make you
send your other queries if any, I will be available to answer them
Thank you
