Why Do I Get Headaches And Lack Of Focus After Taking Thyroid Medication?
I am on thyroid medication for lack of thyroid production and have had to change from 100 down to 50 due to my tsh going very low. Ever since I have been on the medication, for two months, during the day I get mild headaches and a lack of focus and energy.... Is this normal?
Hello, how long you have been on thyroid medications? how low has been your TSH? Check TSH after 2 months and do adjust the dose. Any TSH between 0.5 and 5 is good. While on thyroxine , people are more alert and energetic. Just describe your headache as if you are having any one sided headache, whether its preceded by any aura, nausea etc to typify that. Ensure you have a normal BP and if you are having migraine, some prophylaxis will help you
