Why Do I Have An Oozing Lump In The Groin Area Where The Left Thigh And Testicles Join?
I have a lump in groin area where the left thigh and testicles join. A sticky and stinky liquid oozes out of the lump. The stinky liquid smells like a mix of urine and stool. The liqiod oozes continuously drop by drop. Please advise what to do. Thank you
Lump in the groin oozing sticky and stinky fluid can be due to infected sebaceous cyst that is ruptured but the internal lining still intact producing the fluid. The excessive sweating in this area causes bacterial overgrowth that cause gases which eventually are sticky and stinky.
I would advise you to consult a General Surgeon or proper clinical examination. Get diabetes and any other medical problems ruled out. Go for excision surgery if medical treatment fails to resolve your problem. Clean the area with water at least twice daily and apply liquid povidone iodine to keep the area sterile. Use loose clothing.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
