Why Do I Have Pain After Tragus Piercing?

Hi I got my Tragus piercing a week and two days ago the piercer said it would swell abit but didn't say how long for and I was wondering if something was Wrong because today it started hurting and I kind of have a headache not really painful but I'm just worried

hello,tragus piercing some times leads to perichondritis(inflammation of cartilage). involves whole ear. with interval of 1 week suggest some infection. in my opinion u start tab.ciprofloxacin 5oomg twice daily for 5 days with tab.brufen 400mg twice daily.neosporin ointment thrice daily local appliccation for 5days.
