Hi,

Inflammation of the appendix (Appendicitis) presents with lower right back pain, pain in the lower right side of the abdomen. It can be accompanied with nausea or vomiting. If you have history of chronic cough, it could be Pluritis (right side)/COPD or even gastritis or IBS.

Visit ER, get physically examined. Get investigations like CBC, Urinalysis, X-Ray, Imaging tests, CT, MRI done to rule out appendicitis or COPD, get evaluated & treated at the earliest. In the meantime take antacids, PPI's, acetaminophen (tylenol) to get relieved. Avoid junk food (oily/spicy food), stay away from anxiety & addictions if any.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K,
