Why Do I Have Tenderness And Swelling In My Neck After Radiation Therapy Following Double Mastectomy ?
i had a double mastectomy in oct last year with 34 rounds of radiation is it normal for my collarbone In feb this year i finished 34 radiation treatments after having a double mastectomy. i am still on herceptin but am noticing my collarbone has a little area that is tender and also a little swelling right above it on my neck. is it possible this is still from the radiation.

Welcome to healthcaremagic.com.it is better you get checked with your treating doctor regarding the swelling since it is not immediiate post radiation .A simple ultrasound will tell you if it is only post radiation change or otherwise.Take care.
