Why Do I Hear A Whooshing Sound When I Turn My Head In A Certain Direction ? I Had Flu 2 Months Ago
I had the flu about 2 months ago and now i still cant taste things right and i know i have fluid in my ears, i can feel it, sometimes it makes me dizzy and when i turn my head in a certain direction i hear a whooshing sound and i cant hear other things very good when that happens
Fluid in the ears is because of the Eustachian tube blocking the ear secondary to flu. This is called secretory otitis media, the dizziness and the noise in the ear are due to this fluid in the ear. Do steam inhalation 2-3 times/day, drink plenty of warm water and do consult your ENT specialist for a thorough ear examination.
