Why Do Everything Seem Hilarious While Switching From Wellbutrin To Cymbalta?

I am switching from Welbutrin to Cymbalta. I have read the accompanying materials, but they don t specifically address the effects I may experience while in the cross taper period. During a transition in the past, with drugs I can t recall, I experienced a couple of days where I found myself quite giggly and it seemed like everything was hilarious. Days later I reviewed some of the material I had been reading, and while funny, it wasn t that funny.

Hi,

Wellbutrin (Bupropion) can cause abnormal thoughts. However, its withdrawal causing euphoria might be individualized effect. Bupropion has no known drug interaction with Cymbalta (Duloxetine).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
