Why Do Fingernails Curl Up?

My daughter s fingernails curl up. She also has had to get up at least twice through the night to urinate for the past 4 years (that she has noticed). She says she is always hungry. She has had her blood drawn and all levels were within normal range. Just wonder what still could be her issue.
