Why Do I Feel Depressed And Confused?

I choked on my food monday night and had to be rushed in to hospital i dont remember a lot. At the time it felt like a dream and since the episode took place i feel like I have been away for a long time and everything feels different. I feel drained, confused and depressed can you explain why.

I think, due to choking, you had hypoxia and that lead to decrease circulation in brain. This could lead to de-realization. You can wait for few days or take help of a neuro-psychiatrist for help. In that case, you can get your MRI scan done to rule out any internal damage and take treatment accordingly. In case, you need further help, you can ask.
