Why Does Olmesartan Taste Like Rotten Eggs?

my father had high blood the specialist gave him atenolol 50mg taking half a tablet a day, and our local DR gave him olmesartan (olmetec) and is taking 1 a day dad said the olmesartan (olmetec) taste like rotten eggs is there anything he do about this, dad is 87yrs of age not a diabetic no kidney or liver problems.

in my view if your father doesn't like the taste of the medication you can ask the doctor to change to some other anti hypertensive tablet equally effective.
IF he is OK with the taste and his blood pressure is controlled better continue with the same medication.
