I am a widow post double radical mastectomy and subsequent reconstruction, not sexually active. Recently I have had a yellow vaginal discharge. Additionally I had a PET scan because my oncologist didn t like the recent chemo results. Could the scan have anything to do with this discharge?
Hello No the discharge, which is likely from a vaginal bacterial or yeast infection, would have nothing to do with your oncologist's ordering the PET scan.
There must have been some abnormalities in your blood tests that made him order the scan
