Hello Tanmay,
Welcome to Healthcare magic forum.
Your symptoms are most probably due to allergy to milk
proteins.The link between
asthma and cows' milk is now increasingly being recognised by patients and doctors.Though still not verified by studies , its believed that milk and dairy products stimulate mucus production in lungs.Infact studies suggest that, along with creating excess mucus production in lungs, milk may worsen asthma due to an undiagnosed
milk allergy.
A prime consideration for those with asthma should be the identification and elimination of allergens in foods and in the environment. Although any food is suspect, the ones most likely to trigger asthma are dairy products, eggs, chocolate, wheat,
corn, citrus fruits, and fish.
Another possible reason in some cases is allergy to the antibiotic penicillin which is commonly used to treat the cows for infection. If proper precautions are not taken these antibiotics appear in the milk from such cows and when such scientific contaminated milk is consumed it may cause symptoms of allergy like
eczema or asthma.
So if you are having a temporal relation with milk consumption and asthma symptoms then please consult your doctor or allergist for appropriate management.
Hope that answers your query.
Wishing you good health.
