Why Does Eating Or Drinking Cause Heartburn?

Hi i have had a problem with my stomach for about 1 week now and even eating or drinking causes heart burn when i took some pepto bismol it alleviated the pain a little. had a bowel movement and it was bright yellow it was almost like i was urinating out my bum. sometimes i have a hard time swallowing as well.

I think that your troubles are related to a gastritis or indigestion. A viral infection could also cause these symptoms (especially the bright yellow stool).

The fact that your situation improved after taking bismol is an argument in favor of gastritis.

I recommend you to consult with the gastroenterologist and perform a routine blood test, a stool analysis and a fibrogastroscopy.
